Steps to Goal Setting

1. Decide what you want. Decide if you would rather have money in the bank, or that new car. Choose the life you prefer! You can't have everything in life; but you can have anything you choose, if you will focus, pay the price, and pursue it with all your heart.

2. Clarify your values. Too often, people choose goals that are inconsistent with their priorities and daily behaviors. Do you value health, or comfort? Is financial independence a priority, or merely a wish? In a clash between your values and your wishes, your values will win every time. Be certain your goals are consistent with your most important values.

3. Write them down! Have the courage to put your intentions on paper, in your own words. Be specific and describe your goals in detail. When will you achieve them? What will success look like? Write down the details and read your goals every day, even take a moment to summarize them every morning. Stay focused.

4. Take ACTION! To run a marathon, you must jog every day. Building a business requires that you make sales, every day. A loving marriage or happy kids require your time, your attention and your love, every day. Your daily actions need not be profound or heroic, but they must be consistent and persistent. Every day!

Getting a VISION

Vision is a mental image of your future. Vision is more powerful than sight. Sight is only what you see with your physical eyes, vision is what you see with your imagination. Sight has limitations, vision has no limitations.

Having a firm belief. To rely on or to trust whole heartily. I want to stress the first definition, to have a firm belief. Belief is taking a thought and transferring it to a truth. When a thought becomes a truth, confidence is birth. When one walks in confidence, there is an inward strength that can conquer any outside circumstance.

One that serves as a pattern or model. A set of assumptions, concepts, values, and practices that constitutes a way of viewing reality for the community that shares them, especially in an intellectual discipline. It is a mode of thinking.

When you are innovative, you are diligently looking for opportunities to make things new. You want to keep things alive, active, productive and exciting. A power affecting a person, thing, or course of events, to flow into. Influence simply means to have the power to change. Each of you have the power of influence that God has given you. You were designed to be a change agent.

Motivated means to stimulate toward action. Your main motive is to ACT. Motivation first recorded 1873; the psychological sense of "inner or social stimulus for an action" is from 1904. Here is a simple tip to stay motivated:

Aim-create a picture of what you want to move towards.

Confidence-mentally expect and accept that you will achieve what you are viewing.

Take consistent steps towards it.

This word means to "To seek out with the mindset to overcome". There is a gene on the inside of you, I called it the "C gene" means the conquering gene. This gene is implanted in you for the simple reason to conquer obstacles that tries to stand of your way to your destiny!

Meaning- Cap stands for capacity, roomy and able stands for ability. Simply put is when you enlarge you capacity, you can increase your ability. When you enlarge the inside of you with principles, your outward ability will increase.

I encourage you to MAX this YEAR. Maximum means to raise to the highest quality or degree. Here are some tips to MAX this YEAR:

Master your time-take charge of your time, don't waist it and don't let others steal it.

Active-stay productive, not busy. focus on what's important, not what's urgent.

X out excuses- Get "I can't" out of your vocab. Try new things!
